Did you know that this is a tradition for lots of people? I'm sharing this as seen it mentioned lots yesterday and today!

No Laundry on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day is believed to “wash away” good luck, abundance, or blessings for the year ahead.

In some versions, it’s even said to symbolically wash away a loved one.

Because of that belief, many people avoid doing laundry until after the new year begins treating those days as a pause, a reset, and a way to protect the energy of what’s coming next.

Superstition or not, it’s interesting how many traditions exist around starting the year with intention.
Do you have a superstition mines always been to open the back door to rid away the bad luck and open the front door to start with fresh new luck and hope 😊
