I've been making up new colour ways of texture packs. These include at least 3m each of 10 yarns and threads in different weights, tones and textures. These are "Sun, sea and sand", "Heatwave", "Spring Mix", "Black", "Northern Lights" and "Autumn Days".

I still need to add the new colours and photos to the eBay listing here. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204371369360

Got an idea for a name and its colours? Let me know!

If you'd like to have a go at scrap crafting 've been putting together some craft packs that are for sale in my eBay shop.

Here's just a couple of the ones I've put together today.

Autumn leaves in wool felt: 8 large and 12 small coloured leaves, and the same number in neutral grey tones. (40 leaves in total)
I'm planning to add the option to add a texture pack of yarns and threads, like this autumnal range (picture 3) with the felt scrap packs, and I hope to add more shapes soon.

And I've also put together a number of sari scrap packs. The pieces are folded here so I can get them all in one picture. So many gorgeous fabrics including many different silks and a range of synthetic fabrics. Many with gold threadwork, embroidery, and embellishments.

I've really enjoyed putting these together, and have lots more ideas of things to make as a result too!

When a scarf gets felted, sometimes a sinister little critter is born! I have a stash of felted bits and bobs just calling out to become friends for this one.

See the potential in everything!

This brooch uses a double layer of woollen upholstery felt adorned with offcuts of denim seams, straps off vest tops, the collar from a baby grow and a sliver of rolled up cotton sari, beaded for a little bit of sparkle!

I really enjoy using pieces that retain uniform machine stitches and contrasting that with more organic hand stitching.

Brooch: £14: Message me to buy, or with any questions.

Do you make treasure from tiny pieces other people call trash? Please show me in the comments!

Plaid with a twist! A wool blend plaid fabric overlaid with a brass zip and red and gold beads. Broken zips make such a fun embellishment, and everytime I have clothes that can't be mended, or I replace a zip, I keep it for times like this!

This brooch is £14. Message to enquire or buy.

I wanted to play with teeny tiny stitches and make something double sided. These two pieces of vintage woven cotton scarf have a middle layer of wool felt scrap to stabilise it and have couched yarn, metallic thread and scraps of alpaca-silk blend lace weight yarn embroidery, and a tiny scrap of muslin as embellishments.

I can't decide what to do with it now though, so I'll probably add a thread and hang it from the bottles in my window.

More moons.

A brass drilled moon, a handful of gemstone beads, and a small sprinkling of stars. Mostly made from reclaimed beads, bits and fabric. Scraps are beautiful!

I was cutting circles earlier and accidentally created a crescent instead, so, here we have my first moons.

Two brooches both on a charcoal fulled wool base, with cream viscose wool blend felt (both offcuts from upholsterers and clothing production). The left is crescent moon shaped, I've crocheted a simple flower around a reclaimed stainless steel washer using vintage Coats crochet thread, paired with two vintage glass buttons from a hand-me-down button tin.

The right has a thin crescent on a charcoal background of starry skies, framed by a hand turned, and beaten chain.

Brooches £10 each. Message me if you're interested.

Daylight photos to follow soon.

If you'd like a brooch in a different design/colour then give me a shout and I'm happy to create something just for you.

I made a brooch, shown here on the happy owner's coat.

Upcycled broken zips, a couple of amethyst beads off a broken bracelet of mine, and many, many glass beads.

This week is all about bright, bold, and bubbles. Everything is circles.

Blue brooch inspired by the tourbillon scrap of Firespiral Slings wrap, paired with grey silk and electric blue needlecord and hand embroidered using metal washers.

And the orange and green brooch was inspired by Milk and Moon and the 'art teacher aesthetic'. This is a scrap of batik cotton, and lots of scraps of fabric from a torn shalwar kameez to make the brightest brooch ever!
