No work today as it was a day off with my little man. But no rest for the wicked, keeping the van clean is important ( not been done for a good long while though so not drawing on precious water too much ☀️👍).

It was much easier today with my little helper as well 🫣🤣.

So recently we tackled this beast. This is in a canteen for staff at a warehouse, so the oven gets heavy use. They told me that no one had used the oven for a long time as it had become a fire hazed 🫣🙈.
Needless to say they are delighted that they can once again use the oven when they’re having their well earned break ☺️.

Much like our last post, this is to show that yes we do clean AGA’s, or AGA type ovens. This is an everhot that we clean annually for a regular customer, so we must be doing something right with it 😊😉. There’s a misconception that professional oven cleaners are not ‘qualified’ to clean AGA’s, and specialist cleaners are required. But please consider us before you book someone from miles away and pay well over the odds due to these misconceptions.

We often get asked if we clean microwaves, the answer is yes we do 😊. Here is a microwave we clean for a regular, who came to us when her oven cleaner previous to us didn’t clean the roof 🤷‍♂️. When you book someone make sure that you are getting your moneys worth, and you’re getting a full and thorough job done.

Today we went to a previous customer in the High Peak. We cleaned their oven at their previous house before they moved. They were so pleased with the result - and so jealous of the people moving in to their house 🤣 - that they booked us as soon as they had the keys to their new home.

Taking the doors off and apart gives for a far better clean. The point of this post is, often when doors have been left without getting taken off for a while, they can seize on. That had happened with these doors, however, as standard opening doors we were able to get to the hinges and get the door off.
But this occurrence can cause real problems with slide and hide doors, as the hinges are enclosed within the door, so if it has seized on then there is not much we can do.
We are happy to take slide and hide doors off ( if we are able to ), but recommend you don’t leave it too long.
We must admit, and many of you know this, we would recommend against getting an oven with a slide and hide door, for several reasons, but if you do have one and want the door taking off and apart, we recommend regular cleans 😊.
