A full camper transformation completed by A N L Customs! 🔧🚐✨

After purchasing this camper, the customer wanted to modernise it and make it far more practical for touring. The original 90s fluorescent tube lighting had seen better days, so it was time for a complete upgrade.

⚡ We removed all of the outdated fluorescent lighting and replaced it with bright, energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the interior. Not only does it completely modernise the look, but it also uses significantly less power from the leisure battery—ideal for off-grid adventures.

📱 Charging your devices is now effortless with the installation of three USB charging points positioned around the camper. One of these has been wired to an ignition live, allowing rear passengers to keep their phones and tablets charged while being chauffeured to the next destination.

💡 We also fitted subtle LED ambient strip lighting, integrated into the main lighting circuit to give the interior a clean, modern feel when the lights are switched on.

🔋 For even more flexibility, we installed a 240V inverter powered from the leisure battery, providing emergency mains power when you’re off-grid and need to charge equipment or power small electrical items.

The exterior received just as much attention…

🧼 A full deep decontamination, including the roof, removed years of embedded contamination before the paintwork was machine polished to restore gloss and clarity.

🎨 New side decals were fitted to freshen up the appearance, and the faded bumpers were professionally refinished back to a rich satin black, completing the transformation.

This camper is now brighter, more practical, more efficient, and ready for many years of adventures.

When contamination goes beyond a standard detail…

This Volkswagen came to us after being parked in the vicinity of a vehicle arson attack. Although the vehicle itself wasn’t directly involved, the intense heat and airborne fallout left its mark.

The roof and upper panels were covered in thousands of tiny black specks. This wasn’t ordinary road grime or tar—it was bonded contamination made up of soot, carbon deposits and airborne debris that had become embedded into the paintwork. Left untreated, this type of contamination can permanently affect the finish and, if removed incorrectly, can inflict further damage through scratching and marring.

Our process started with a thorough inspection before carrying out a deep multi-stage decontamination. Using specialist chemicals and mechanical decontamination techniques, we safely broke down and removed the bonded fallout without compromising the paint.

Once the surface was completely clean, the paintwork was assessed under inspection lighting. The contamination had left the finish dull and marked, so the next stage was a machine cut and refinement. This carefully levelled the affected surface, removed the defects and restored the clarity, depth and gloss that had been hidden beneath the contamination.

The end result was a roof that looked as though the incident had never happened.

Not every vehicle needs a simple wash and polish. Sometimes it takes the correct knowledge, professional products and the right machine polishing techniques to safely reverse damage that many would assume is permanent.
