It is after much consideration that I have decided with immediate effect to close Morgans Estate Services.

After nearly 8 years I can honestly say I have met some amazing people, of which I hope these will continue to support me whilst I pursue other ventures.

This has not been an easy decision, but I feel with three businesses my attention has been unevenly divided, I am much more personally aligned to our property based services.

Anyone that knows me knows I am always telling my children and friends to 'follow their gut instinct and to never be afraid of change.' In all honesty I have spent the last eighteen months ignoring my own advice which in turn makes me feel very unhappy and unfulfilled.

I am genuinely excited at the thought of throwing myself wholeheartedly into our building work and the other property work that I do alongside the various charity work I have started to do.

A massive thank you to everyone that has supported me over the last 7 and a half years it's beyond appreciated.
We will contact any clients individually over the next few days to make sure that you have any required information for moving forward. We are able to recommend alternative providers if necessary.

We are not going to lie you get out what you put in when you work for MES but you set your own hours.... yes that is correct you tell us when you want to work, we then place you in contracts we know you can do.
We train you, we visit sites with you ensuring you know exactly what to do and when and we reward loyalty, consistency and commitment.

For the non drivers out there we can provide a pick up/drop off all we ask is that you maintain high standards. 🚕🚖
All contracts 25 hours and below for example we do have some people that do 2 hours a fortnight because that is what they can do and it fits around their lifestyle.
Fair pay for all regardless of age/gender and experience the key thing is a good work ethic and enthusiasm to work as part of a broader team.

It is all go at the moment with the addition of new properties, we have the lovely Jack Hinds Property Photography coming to take pictures of 2 of our cottages next week, it is always worth having professional photographs taken when listing your properties so potential guest see your listings in the best light.

This week we are going to add some more fabulous people to our team that want family friendly hours that work around their commitments, within an environment where they are valued. We are excited to see what the week brings, we love meeting new people and showing them that work doesn't have to be a slog and it can work around their life.

We are very sad to say that with immediate effect we have terminated all of our domestic contracts, we pride ourselves on doing a fabulous job of everything we do and unfortunately due to numerous circumstances such as rising costs and staff shortages we cannot provide a service that is in line with our high standards. Our commercial and hospitality contracts will continue to operate as usual. Anyone effected by the change has been emailed and we are more than happy to make recommendations for people to take over your service. Any questions please email: [email protected]

We have 2 x Caretaking roles and 2 x cleaning positions based in the CH3 area.

Caretaking/cleaner roles

£13 per hour

Caretaker 1

5pm until 8pm Monday to Friday

You will be responsible for stock taking of products.
Fire alarm testing on a weekly basis
Water temperature testing
Making sure that all lights etc work within the building and reporting directly to your manager any faults.
You will be responsible for locking up the building and setting alarms at the end of each day.

You will also be required to help in a cleaning capacity working alongside another cleaner.

Caretaker 2

As above

Mon to Friday
6am to 8am
This is a keyholder position so you will be responsible for making sure the building is unlocked at the start of the day.

You will be working alongside another cleaner and must adhere to our health and safety working practices.

Cleaning Roles £12 per hour

Hours either 5pm to 7pm or 6am to 8am

The role will be working alongside our caretakers.
Jobs will include cobwebbing, dusting, hoovering, cleaning touchpoints and bathrooms and mopping of floors.

Please note enhanced DBS checks will be an eligibility criteria for these roles we can provide these , we require 2 references, 1 of which must be of employment within the last 3 years. Driving is a necessity due to the locations of buildings.

Cleaners store before and after at a new contract. You can't keep somewhere clean if the tools and workspace is filthy!!

We are super proud that we have just had our quote accepted for the caretaking contract for another of our local schools. Our team works really hard to put these quotes together and it is important to us to be able to support local schools keeping them safe and clean places for our children.
