CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL ROAD CLOSERS
A435 - Closed southbound between Hyde Lane/Southam Lane traffic lights and the Racecourse Roundabout and the top of Evesham Road to Central Cross Drive from 10.30am-1.30pm and from 4pm-8pm (approximately).
B4075 - New Barn Lane between Racecourse Roundabout and Albert Road will be closed to through traffic between 4pm and 8pm to allow quick and safe access for public buses utilising our South Car Park (Park & Ride car park).
Albert Rd - Closed to northbound traffic between 10am and 8pm except for service buses and local access.
Broad Acre Road and Barley Road - Access will be restricted to residents only to stop racegoers parking in this residential area.
Paddocks Lane / Boulton Road / Hill Top Road/Cleevelands Avenue & Drive. Access will be restricted to residents only from 9am to 8pm
Evesham Road – Closed to southbound traffic from 4pm to 8pm from Racecourse Roundabout to the top of Central Cross Road. Stewards will be present and provision will be in place to allow for emergency and residential access. Water-filled barriers will be placed along the centre of the road and pedestrians will be encouraged to walk on the left-hand side when heading towards the town centre.
New for 2026, we have the option to close Swindon Lane from the racecourse roundabout towards P13 (Pick Up & Drop off Exit) to allow the safe exit of pedestrians. This will only be employed, if necessary, on egress.
