It is with deep regret that I write this post. After almost 17 years since i set up the business, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to sell up because of ill health. My condition steadily got worse from 3 years ago to the point I had to give in to it as my condition has forced me to make changes to my life.
Setting up my business was a long-standing ambition and my pride and joy, of which I've enjoyed every minute and gave me so much in return, especially personal growth. I've enjoyed the banter and laughs with my customers - many endearing people - of whom I have learnt so much from, giving you the best of my decades of experience, the cleaning challenges I have had, the quality i've wanted my customers to have, the laughs, loyalty and fantastic work I've had from my staff, past and present. I thank you all. I have had the pleasure of seeing customers, neighbours and staff grow, seeing their children grow from babies to near adulthood, others grow to have their own families, customers moving on and sadly, customers pass on. What an experience! One that I'm very grateful for! Galleywood - thank you for accepting me and my business into your great community. Thank you for your loyalty and the laughs. Even though I'm going 10 years before I wanted, I have many great memories to hold on to.
Thank you to the customers who nominated me for the England's Business Award, of which I won Best Drycleaners in Essex 9 months ago. What a wonderful high to finish on!
The new owner, a local lady, Lisa, is keeping the business mainly as it is, so I hope you give her a chance and support her as you have supported me.
Lisa will be operating a new page so this business page will disappear in a few days time.
Even though Lisa took over 1 week ago, I'm missing it already!
