🌞 Here we go again… another heatwave! 🌞

With temperatures rising once more, we’d really appreciate your help to make our working environment as comfortable and safe as possible.

If you’re due a clean over the next few days, could we kindly ask that you:
☀️ Switch off any unnecessary heat sources (heated airers, electric fires, ovens etc.) before we arrive.
☀️ Close curtains or blinds in rooms that receive direct sunlight where possible to help keep the house cooler.
☀️ If it’s safe to do so, leave a window slightly open to allow some airflow.
☀️ Ensure pets have access to water and a cool space if they will be at home during the clean.

To ensure fairness, we’ll be prioritising clients who unfortunately missed their scheduled clean during the last heatwave. We know this may mean a slight adjustment to some appointments, and we really appreciate your understanding and patience.

The health and wellbeing of our team has to remain our priority during extreme temperatures. Our cleaners will be taking regular water breaks and may work at a slightly slower pace than usual to stay safe, and priotirise rooms of high traffic etc.

Yesterday, Kelly and Anna completed a full top-to-bottom on a main bathroom, ensuite and downstairs WC deep clean, bringing this space back to life! 🧽💙

Sometimes life gets busy, overwhelming, and before you know it, those bigger cleaning jobs become another thing on the never-ending to-do list. There’s absolutely no shame in that – that’s exactly where we’re here to help. 💙

‼️ WEATHER WARNING – IMPORTANT CLEANING NOTICE ‼️

Due to the extreme heat forecast, we are having to make some temporary changes to our cleaning schedule this week to protect our team’s health and safety.

Unfortunately, some cleans may need to be cancelled or rearranged. If your clean is affected, you will receive a text message from us today.

Please be aware:

☀️ Windows will NOT be cleaned this week
☀️ We will be working at a reduced pace due to the heat, so we kindly ask for your understanding that not every area may be completed as usual. We will always prioritise the key areas and do our very best.
☀️ Sun rooms, conservatories, and areas with large amounts of glass/windows will not be cleaned during this heat period.
☀️ If you have an Aga or range cooker that is permanently switched on, please be aware this may affect our ability to fully clean your kitchen during this period. These appliances create extreme heat output, and we need to ensure our team can work safely.

How you can help us:
• Please close curtains/blinds in rooms before we arrive to help keep the sun and heat out
• If you have fans, please leave them switched on where possible
• Keep rooms ventilated where safe to do so
• Please ensure we have access to drinking water if needed (especially on longer cleans)
• If possible, avoid having extra heat sources running (ovens, tumble dryers, etc.) before or during our visit
