Part Time Cleaning Staff Required

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners for a part-time role in Witney and surrounding areas. Daily responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining residential and commercial spaces to the highest standards. Tasks involve sweeping, mopping, hoovering, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and making beds to name a few. You may also be required to perform periodic deep cleaning tasks and restock cleaning supplies as needed. Flexibility and reliability are key to ensure client needs are consistently met.

Skills

Ability to perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, hoovering, and sanitising surfaces
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour is essential.
Experience in cleaning services is desired but not essential .
Physically capable of undertaking tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion
Must be able to work as part of a team and as an Individual.
Work will be based on a rota and will include, weekends and bank holiday working.

Essential Requirements

You must have a full, clean driving license and be able to drive to each cleaning location.
Authorisation to work in the United Kingdom is required and will be checked for successful applicant.

Tuesdays are always a busy one for us at Oxfordshire Housekeeping 🧼✨

We started the day with one of our regular domestic cleans—keeping everything fresh, organised, and running smoothly for the week ahead.

Then onto an Airbnb clean, making sure it was spotless and guest-ready (because those first impressions really do count).

We also visited one of our longest-standing clients—who has the most adorable puppy 🐾 (definitely a highlight of the day!)

And we finished with one of our newer clients, a lovely elderly couple with the sweetest little dog. For us, that clean isn’t just about the home… it’s about taking the time to chat, check in, and of course give the dog plenty of fuss 💛

That’s what makes what we do so special—every home, every client, every visit is different.

It’s never just cleaning… it’s care, connection, and making a real difference in people’s everyday lives.

Running a business isn’t always easy… but it’s days like today that remind me exactly why I started this journey .

Today myself and a team member completed multiple cleans, and it really hit me just how much of an impact our work has on people’s lives.

For an elderly couple, a clean isn’t just about having a tidy home — it helps them maintain their independence, creates a safer environment, and takes away the pressure of tasks that are becoming more difficult.

For a busy mum, after a long day, the last thing she wants to do is come home and start cleaning. Instead, tonight she’ll walk into a fresh, clean home and spend that time with her children — making memories instead of tackling chores.

And it’s cleans like these that make it all worthwhile. Because we’re not just providing a service… we’re giving people something far more valuable — their time back.

Time with family.
Time with friends.
Time to relax.
Time to breathe.

This is exactly why I started my business.
To make a difference.
To support people.
To give time back where it matters most.

🌿 Sunday Reset, Refill & Realign 🌿

What a beautiful Sunday it's been — and for me, Sundays are all about resetting for the week ahead.

Today started early with meal prepping — the kids' school lunches are done for the week, breakfasts sorted, dinners planned and prepped, snacks made, and even fresh bread baked. There's something so satisfying about knowing the week ahead is already taken care of.

I've gone through the house refilling and restocking all the essentials — shampoo bottles topped up, tea and coffee jars filled, flour replenished, and all those little things that make a big difference when the week gets busy.

School uniforms are washed and ready, bags packed, shoes polished, and the kids have everything they need for a smooth start tomorrow.

Because when you start the week ahead… everything feels calmer.

A clean, organised home gives me more freedom — more time with my children, more time with my dogs, and more time to do the things I actually enjoy. Time is precious, and being prepared helps me protect it.

Sometimes you have to have a busy day… to give yourself a calmer week.

Here's to starting Monday feeling organised, calm, and ready ✨
