This was a stand out stove to me this week, floating stove.
Connected to a liner at the back through a sweeping bend.
Some great bits out there if you look hard enough.
Swept and serviced for another 12 months.

Another unit in need of some TLC.
Screws jammed in the base grate, boards broken, seals missing …..
Now good to go and ready for the winter.

My yearly visit to see Sidney !
Thought he was looking a tad sheepish, turns out his mum has been trying to burn 2pence pieces and coat hangers in his stove …. Naughty 😂😂😂

Another week of repairs , sweeping and servicing of units.
Glad to say all parts fitted and tested off ready for winter.
One unit had soot sat on top of baffle plate causing it to restrict airflow, might not think you have used the unit that much but it is surprising how quickly soot can build up in a twin wall system.

Chilling with the mutts after an early morning visit to the beach.
Back to reality next week but the weather couldn’t have been better, well as a ginger I’d prefer snow 😂

Today we have lovely Louis the Lab who is nice and chilled then we have the 9 month old ‘Jack-a-poo’ who has absolutely no idea what personal space means 😂

Why Jotul make a stove with a lid that is not secure tickles my head.
They are easily knocked and just rely on the weight of the lid pressing down on a rope.
As you can see this rope was out of place so leaking smoke and gasses into the room.
They are great units for sure but perhaps avoid this older model.
