🚨 71-Day Outage Successfully Completed | Red Dragon Group 🚨
We’re proud to share the successful completion of a 71-day site shutdown at our client’s Energy Recovery Facility in Cardiff. Known as one of the longest and most demanding outages we've supported, this project tested endurance, precision, and collaboration — and our team delivered.

Over the course of this shutdown, Red Dragon Group provided critical support services including:

✅ 24/7 manned security and access control
✅ Off-site car park security management
✅ Full CDM site induction control, ensuring all contractors were safely inducted
✅ Welfare cabin cleaning services, backed by a dedicated cleaning team
✅ Design and build of bespoke welfare cabins tailored for the 2025 shutdown

Most importantly — we are proud to report ZERO lost time injuries throughout the project. Safety, as always, remains at the heart of everything we do.

A huge thank you to every member of the Red Dragon Group team who worked tirelessly and professionally throughout. Your hard work and commitment are what set us apart.

We are incredibly proud to honour our RDG team member Tracey from our Avonmouth site in Bristol for her remarkable act of courage and compassion. Recently, she rescued an injured Peregrine Falcon, demonstrating not only quick thinking but also a deep respect for wildlife. Tracey then took it to the local vet who looked after the falcon until the local bird charity came to collect it and start the rehabilitation process.

Tracey has been updated by the Bird Charity that the Falcon is a young female and is now making a full recovery and should be released near to nest where it was rescued and found.

Tracey’s dedication and kindness inspire us all, reminding us of the impact one person can have with a simple, selfless act.
