WhatsApp, messenger, emails, texts and calls are going crazy right now with winter bookings soaring so if it takes me a little longer than usual to reply, it’s just because I’m knee-deep in soot & smiles but I’m doing my best I promise. 😃🧹

Two for the price of one! 🐝🐦
What better way to kick off nest busting season than with a bird’s nest and a bee hive… all tucked away in the same chimney! 😝

Only in chimney world… first, a gang of jackdaws moved in and built their twig fortress. Then, when they were done, a swarm of bees thought it looked like prime real estate and set up a hive right on top.

The result? A chimney stuffed with sticks, feathers, and sticky, oozy honey glued together with beeswax.

From cawing to buzzing, this flue had it all — and now it’s ready for its next (hopefully quieter) tenant…. Just good clean soot!

I climbed up high, above the street,
With chimney pots beneath my seat.
The sky was grey, the wind was loud—
But wow, I felt a little proud.

The bricks were warm, the view was neat,
Though balancing was no small feat!
I smiled and waved like, “Look at me!”
Just hanging out above a tree.

The chimneys stood like little guards,
Protecting roofs and garden yards.
One wore a hat to stop the rain—
I gave it names. (I won't explain.)

So if you hear a rooftop cheer,
It might be me—don’t call it weird.
I like the view, I love the breeze…
Just hope I don’t fall off my knees!
