CGCambridge founder visits Downing Street
Adele Furness, founder of innovative Cambridge cleaning company CGCambridge, visited 10 Downing Street to discuss digital adoption in SMEs with the Prime Minister’s business adviser, Varun Chandra.
CGCambridge, founded in 2023, serves several Cambridge University colleges, including Pembroke, plus has contracts with offices, leading construction companies, and wedding venues such as Barrington Hall.
The ethos of CGCambridge is to provide cleaners with a structured career path and access to training.
Under Adele’s leadership, the firm is also developing a novel IT platform designed to simplify and improve the experience for both cleaning professionals and their customers.
It was this innovation that led the small business commissioner, Emma Jones, to invite her to Downing Street to discuss the challenges and opportunities small businesses face when adopting digital tools.
“At CGCambridge we believe everybody deserves the chance to learn, develop, and build a better future,” said Adele.
