So I have had some fantastic meetings recently with some amazing and inspiring folk who are very keen to help. All of them, I believe, are on board and are able to fix all sorts of stuff from clothes to bicycles to toasters...and more ( I will publish a full list once the venue and date is confirmed). We also have an upcycler involved...this means you can bring some of your 'unsaveable' stuff along and he will suggest and help you to make something new from it.
I am very excited about this and really happy to be taking this forward....If anyone has suggestions or would like to help on the day with volunteering, please get in touch [email protected]
I am still looking for venues, so more suggestions are welcome...thank you for those so far...I am also trying to work out where the repair cafe stands on insurance. I know some venues will cover the public liability but some do not...this may be expensive so any ideas please.

I am looking to start a Repair cafe in Norwich, I am looking for anyone who can fix anything, from electronics to darning socks...anything that you are good at. If you are happy to give up 3 or 4 hours of your time and live locally and will commit to help with this community project, please get in touch.

I am still looking...there must be someone out there that wants some work and feels that they are up to the challenge of managing the domestic side of a small and local environmentally friendly cleaning company based in Cambridge. If you are organised and thick skinned enough then there is no reason that you would not be able to do this part time and earn a substantial income in the long term - a very small monthly salary, however 40% of every new client that you get - full training given. Please let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested. Thanks
