I thought it was about time I reintroduced myself, especially as it's been a few years since I first started this page!

✨ I'm Laine, I'm 40, and I live in Derbyshire with my wonderful fiancé, our amazing son, and our beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback, who definitely keeps us on our toes! 🐾

✨ I started Peak District Cleaning to create a better work-life balance for my family after originally working as a beauty therapist. Fast forward a few years, and I'm so grateful to be doing a job I genuinely love while helping my clients enjoy clean, comfortable homes.

✨ When I'm not cleaning, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, walking in the Peak District, enjoying good food, or at a live music gig! 🎶 I'm a huge fan of The Killers, and there's nothing quite like live music and a great atmosphere.

✨ Alongside my cleaning business, I've recently started my own travel business too! 🌍✈️ I love helping people find and book their perfect holidays, whether it's a weekend getaway or the trip of a lifetime. I also help people who are looking for more freedom and flexibility learn how they can start their own travel business and create a better work-life balance for themselves.

✨ One of my favourite things is helping people make life that little bit easier. Whether that's coming home to a beautifully clean house after a busy week, or finding a fantastic holiday at a great price, I love knowing I've made someone's day a little better.

🧹 URGENTLY HIRING – EXPERIENCED CLEANER / HOUSEKEEPER 🧹

Peak District Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable, professional and motivated Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our growing team covering Buxton and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for an experienced cleaner who is confident working independently, takes pride in their work, and can be trusted to deliver consistently high standards in clients' homes without supervision.

🚨 Immediate start available 🚨

📍 Buxton & surrounding areas
💷 £15 per hour (standard cleans)
💷 £16 per hour (deep cleans)
⏰ Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm
🚗 Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required
🏠 Self-employed position
❌ No evenings
❌ No weekends

**PLEASE NOTE: Previous domestic cleaning experience is essential. Applications from candidates without cleaning experience will not be considered.**

We currently have approximately **18 hours per week available**, with additional hours becoming available as the business continues to grow.

We are looking for someone who wants a long-term opportunity and is interested in growing with the business.

⭐ Reliability and punctuality are absolutely essential for this role. ⭐

We value reliability above all else. Skills can be taught, but turning up on time, communicating well and taking pride in your work are non-negotiable.

We're looking for someone who:

✅ Able to work alone in clients' homes while maintaining high standards and professionalism
✅ Genuinely enjoys cleaning and takes pride in their work
✅ Is highly reliable and punctual
✅ Communicates clearly and professionally
✅ Has excellent attention to detail
✅ Can work independently and be trusted in clients' homes
✅ Wants a long-term opportunity rather than a short-term job
✅ Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle

Many of our clients work from home, so a friendly, respectful and professional approach is essential.

Back at one of my lovely clients’ homes today ✨

They were so happy with their deep clean that they’ve now booked me in for regular monthly visits – which honestly means so much! 🫶

With a little one on the way, two dogs, and a busy home to run, I’m so glad I can help take a bit of the pressure off and keep everything feeling fresh and calm.
