Another Jaguar worked on last year was this rather interesting Series 3 E-Type with quite a few tricks under the bonnet to help it achieve a top speed of over 150 mph.

Having just received a full respray, the interior and engine bay were in need of a good clean-up to remove all traces of bodyshop dust and to bring them up to the same standard as the exterior.

Following a restoration by CKL Developments, this beautiful Jaguar C-Type was shipped over the pond and entered into the Pebble Beach Concours. The car then went on to take part in Colarado Grand, a rally covering 1000 miles.

Upon return to the UK, the car was very much in need of a deep clean to return it to concours condition. Every nut and bolt of this car was cleaned with the seats and floor pans removed to gain access to all those hidden areas where dirt, detritus, and oil had found its way in.

This unusual looking Ferrari 412 was completed in the run-up to Christmas.
A thorough paint correction and interior detail were carried out to ensure the car was looking its absolute best for the new custodian.
The leather interior, while all intact and original, had got a little dry over the years, so a nourishing balm was applied to make it more supple and protect it in the future.

Dread Detail

This Ferrari 250 Granturismo arrived from the States with a layer of "mystery dirt" on it, some of which was fairly well attached to the paintwork. Following a good soak in the correct prewash for the job, a gentle wash was all that was required to safely clean the car.

At the beginning of July, the 1963 AC Cobra "13 COB" was given a 30-hour overhaul to get it looking sharp for a photoshoot with Bonhams at Goodwood. On the day, we had the pleasure of watching it get slung sideways for one last time by the capable hands of Murray Shepherd and also removing the resulting insect massacre in our pop-up paddock wash bay! Once clean, we delivered it to the auction hall.

This is a special car to me, being as it is the first "proper" car I detailed. Sad to see it go, but I am grateful to have been involved in the upkeep of it over the years.

A wash and interior detail was in order for this Ferrari 458 Italia today.
Having just returned from the bodyshop, the car had the usual dust that finds its way into every nook and cranny.
Now the car is clean from top to bottom and looking as sharp as the customer remembers it being.

Just a few shots from last month's detail on this MGB roadster.

The dull and weathered paintwork on this car was brought back to life following a multi stage machine polish and wax. All the chromework on the boot lid had to be removed and refitted to allow access to the paint underneath. The hardtop roof was also removed so as the rear deck could be polished.

The car has undergone a lot of work over the past year, and getting it detailed was the cherry on top for the very happy customers!
