What a view from work today.😍

Spent 6 hours carrying out a full deep clean on this stunning Cupra, and honestly the backdrop made it even more special.

Watching tourists admire the Forth Rail Bridge while also stopping to compliment the car and the work was a great feeling.

Massive thanks to the customer for the trust (and the tea, coffee, and treats it’s always appreciated!).

This one is now on our maintenance plan, so I’ll be back here every 4 weeks…not a bad office at all.

‼️UPDATE REGARDING MY RECENT POST ABOUT THE COUNCIL AND THE GRASS‼️

First of all, I want to say a big thank you to the “grass” it’s actually brought more attention to my business, with more followers, bookings, and opportunities.

I’m especially grateful to my neighbours, customers, fellow small businesses, and even those who’ve stopped me in the street to say kind words. It genuinely means a lot.

I’ve now spoken with the council and everything has been clarified. I’m able to continue running Triple C – Couser’s Car Care from home within agreed guidelines.

To keep things fair and respectful for everyone nearby, this means.

1 - A limit on the number of customer vehicles per week (from this property)

2 - Set working hours (no early mornings, evenings or Sundays)

3 - All work carried out on the driveway not on the road (which I do anyway)

4 - Use of biodegradable products (which I do anyway) and keeping noise to a minimum (which I do)

I take this seriously and want to make sure I’m running the business responsibly and with consideration for neighbours.

If there are ever any concerns, please feel free to come to me directly instead of going behind a small business’s back and grassing me in.

I’m always happy to have a quick chat and sort things out straight away.

I appreciate everyone’s support while I got this sorted.

So I have had Fife council come out to me today to issue a complaint about my small business partly operating from my mum and dad’s house.

Someone has complained about my chemicals that can “harm the environment”. The reason my prices are higher than some is due to me purchasing of higher quality bio degradable chemicals so I can assure you this isn’t an issue.

The second complaint from the same person is the noise…I try to start at 10am and if I have to start earlier I try to let people know on my social media. I think this is very fair and shouldn’t result in anyone complaining.

I totally understand we have jealous people in this world who don’t like people doing well in life however all I am trying to do is run a small business which is only PARTLY operating from this location as the other half is mobile which the council don’t have an issue with🤷‍♂️.

I have now been told I could receive a £600 fine if I don’t stop.

I have a house to pay for, bills, food, and a personal life. I have done everything by the book I.e insurance and everything is logged and given to my accountant.

To whoever has made this complaint please come forward with any other issues you may have.
