Sadly I am having to post once again to say that we DO NOT advertise on any Job Search sites.
Despite our repeated requests for false adverts to be taken down- we continue to receive applications for jobs that do not exist (eg Window Cleaner in Newcastle!!)

All the best to anyone taking on the London Marathon tomorrow!!! This correspondent remembers the nerves! (Yes! Really!)
Cleaning can feel like a marathon…its eased if spills or drops are only rinsed & mopped up with tepid water before we get to them!
Don’t be tempted to use any detergent or soap on your carpet or upholstery- it can sometimes make things worse!! Especially washing up liquid (yes, people do!) it leaves a sticky soapy residue that has to be specially treated to get up before we attack the original spill mark!!

Once again we hear that what appear to be fake jobs are being advertised in our name. This time it appears to be in the Darlington area.
We do not and have never advertised for staff.

One day the rain will stop …. Surely???
All the spring flowers are starting to pop up, they seem hopeful…….
Don’t panic, we have booties & drop cloths so even if its pouring outside, we can leave your place lovely and clean & fresh!!

We are taking a well earned break so will be unable to respond to messages until 26th Jan.
In the meantime- remember, tepid water and dabbing, drying with pressure is the best “first aid”. Add some bicarb to the water if the spill could be smelly!
Then we have the best chance of fully cleaning the spill.

Thank you for your support in 2025!
Remember - for spills, simple rinsing with tepid water and dabbing dry with paper or regular towel (using pressure to get the area as dry as possible)
Never scrub your carpet as it can damage the fibres!!
If the spill is liable to smell - dilute some bicarb in the water.
Then we have more chance of being able to clean the area fully, if needs be!
NEVER use washing up liquid!!
