One of my dreams when setting up Ross & Dry nearly six years ago was to be able to work on rare and unusual cars... this was realised last weekend when I had the privilege to work my magic on this gorgeous Porsche 911T from 1965.
Converted into a racer some 40 years ago and stored underneath potato bags in a barn for the last 3 years, it was in need of some careful and often painstaking polishing to restore gloss and clarity to the single-stage paintwork. It was finished off with my favourite wax ( Titanium Ceramic) to further boost the beautiful cherise colour and offer protection as it heads into a "carcoon".
The bulk of the work is complete, just needs a few hours to clean up the interior, take some of the scratches out of the perspex rear windows and to intricately polish the metalwork.
I love my job!
