Wasp nest after treatment using an insecticidal dust applied via a telescopic lance. Note the white wasps that have picked up the dust. The nest activity was finished within 1 hr of treatment.

An early seasons wasp nest. Got called to a house after a young girl had been stung in the night. Turns out that she sleeps with her light on which attracted the wasps from the loft above. Not only did we treat this nest but there were also 2 other nests just starting to show activity going under the roof tiles. Busy start to the season 🐝

Second wasp nest of the season yesterday - the first was even smaller. Note the cell structure containing the wasp grubs. This nest was exposed by a roofer doing some work and had only about 20 worker wasps active. Wasp nest number 3 came today which couldn't be seen properly but had about the same number of active wasps and was active in a hotel wall. Maybe it's going to be a busy season !
