Who is behind Carr's Highland Valeting? Why should you trust us?

I thought it was time to properly introduce the people behind Carr’s Highland Valeting.

I’m Patrick, a husband, dad of two little boys and the person normally found with a vacuum in one hand and a detailing brush in the other!

I work full time in Inverness and run Carr’s Highland Valeting during evenings and weekends. It can make for some long days, but I genuinely enjoy the challenge of taking a well used vehicle and making it feel clean and fresh again.

Carr's in the name and behind each clean is often a family effort. My wife Elaine, is my biggest supporter and helper, and you will often see her working alongside me on larger jobs. We tackle most things together, and this business is no different.

We are working hard and saving towards buying a home for our family, so every booking, recommendation, review and shared post genuinely means a great deal to us. Each one helps us move a little closer to that goal.

This was a really special job for us!

A huge thank you to Ann, Alan and Euan at Cameron Buses of Brora for giving us the opportunity to get 14 of their school minibuses cleaned, fresh and ready for the new school term.

It was definitely a challenge! Ann has very high standards (as she should! 😂), and we really wanted to make sure every bus went back looking its best.

My wife and I tackled them together before my surgery, with our 3-year-old joining us on a few days to supervise Mum and Dad and make sure we were doing it properly! It was long days and a lot of hard work, but we genuinely had such a good time doing it together.

One of the nicest parts has actually been this week. We keep spotting the buses out and about, lovely and fresh, full of kids heading back to school — and every time we see one, we can’t help but say “there’s one of ours!” 😂

We’re only a small family business, so being trusted with a job like this genuinely means a lot to us.

Thank you, Ann, for taking a chance on us. We loved the challenge and we’re really proud of the end result. 💙

Well… that’s me officially off the tools for a little while! 🖐️🤕

A wrist operation means Carr’s Highland Valeting will be taking a short break while I recover and get the hand back in working order.

A massive thank you to everyone who has booked in, recommended me, shared the page or supported the business so far — it’s genuinely appreciated.

I’ll be back cleaning Highland cars and battling dog hair again as soon as I can! 🚗✨
