There’s always something special about creating a piece that tells a story. 🌿
We recently completed this bespoke cedar desk, handcrafted from a branch of a tree that had fallen on our client’s estate here in the Cotswolds. Rather than seeing it go to waste, they chose to turn it into something that will be used and enjoyed every day.
One of our favourite details on this project was carefully hand-scribing the timber to the existing brickwork, allowing the desk to fit seamlessly against the characterful wall. It’s one of those small details that takes time and patience but makes all the difference, creating a truly built-in piece that looks like it’s always belonged there.
