Back on site this morning to finish the one window we couldn’t get done yesterday

Access and conditions meant it was better to return and do it properly rather than rush the job. The timber frames are now fully cleaned back, bringing out the natural character of the wood while keeping the surrounding stonework protected throughout the process.

Sometimes the extra trip is worth it to get the finish right 💨

First stage complete on this beautiful timber restoration project 🙌

Using laser cleaning, we carefully stripped back the failed coating from the front door and windows while preserving the character of the timber underneath. The difference already speaks for itself 🔥

This project is being completed in stages, as the customer has requested sanding, repair work and a brand new protective coating before we move onto the next sections. Rather than stripping everything at once, we’re working methodically to keep the property protected throughout the process.

Today we completed the whole front elevation except for one final window — unfortunately the rain stopped play 🌧️ We’ll be back tomorrow to finish the last section and continue bringing these timber frames back to life.

From dark, dated timber to a warm natural oak finish 🔥

This set of solid timber doors had years of dark stain and coating built up over the surface. Using our laser cleaning system, we were able to carefully strip everything back while preserving all of the original detail and grain beneath.

No harsh sanding.
No aggressive chemicals.
Just precision restoration.

The natural grain and character hidden underneath came up beautifully and completely changed the feel of the space. Unfortunately, the doors are now being painted to suit the rest of the room — but it was great to reveal what was underneath and show what laser cleaning can achieve.
