It’s show week for Phoenix-KYT who are celebrating a wonderful 10 years of youth theatre.
‘From Page to Stage’ is a celebration of musicals inspired by literature and is a show full of hit songs from shows you all know, with a few new ones that I’m sure you will love…….The Boy in the Dress is a particular favourite of mine.

This April, my cleaning company will be 7 years old. I can’t believe how quick that time went!
I have learnt many lessons along the way. Some difficult, some were surprising but the business has continued to teach me to adapt and although not always easy, I’ve not given up!

Starting a business from scratch is no easy task and starting with just two friends as my clients, the company has grown to a client base of over 30 clients and I employ a team of 5. Hard work, resilience and good communication, I believe are some of the qualities needed to run a small business, however you can’t plan for every eventuality.

Having survived the horrendous couple of years through the Covid pandemic that saw many small businesses close and support all my staff at the time through that period with furlough, I am really proud of the reputation and relationships I have built up over those 7 years.
Now we face, staff shortages and a wage war among sectors such as retail, care, hospitality and more………..

April 1st sees another minimum wage increase which for small business owners is difficult to manage with increasing business costs in all areas but especially in business insurance and materials.
