JOB ADVERT: FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: £15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
This is a Part-Time Fixed Contract role, to cover Maternity Leave
Starting in November to shadow and work alongside current Finance officer for 1 month before Maternity Leaves starts 13th December 2024.
This position is available from November 2024- September/October 2025.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team to cover Maternity Leave. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing financial support to the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance
- Conduct financial analysis to guide decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Create audits and tax preparation
-Send monthly submissions to HMRC re CIS deductions and PAYE reports.
Qualifications
- A certificate or good experience in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial procedures, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in SAGE accounting software and MS Office, Excel
Hours of work will be 16 hours per week and can be broken down into 2/3 days per week to be flexible.
