This timber decking was restored using a customised softwash chemical process and a careful 4-part treatment.

The first “after” photo shows the result after 2 stages, with the final photo showing the restored surface while it’s still drying out.

Final results will continue to develop over time as the timber dries and the tannins settle. (Photos to come later in the year!)

Bit of a tidy-up on this porcelain patio.

It wasn’t terrible, just starting to look a bit dull and grubby in places, which happens over time with foot traffic, rain, dirt and general garden mess.

Porcelain always looks great when it’s clean, but it still needs doing properly. This was cleaned carefully to lift the dirt and freshen the whole area back up.

Much better once it was finished. Cleaner, brighter, and the tiles have a bit of life back in them again.

The red staining running down the wall was mainly Trentepohlia (red algae). It’s common on rendered surfaces and tends to show up as red, orange or rusty-looking streaks, especially where rainwater runs down the wall and carries organic matter over the surface.

The render itself was still in decent condition, so this was cleaned using a careful softwash process to effectively restore the surface without needing to repaint.

Really happy with how this one came up. The client’s home looks much brighter and fresher, and it’s always nice to bring render back properly rather than covering it over.

The render had picked up weathering and organic growth over time, but a careful clean and treatment brought it back nicely without the need to repaint
