Cleaning Supervisor - The Memorial Stadium

Job Location: The Memorial Stadium, Filton Avenue BS7 0BF

Contract Type: Permanent, 35 hours per week (over 5 days to suit the needs of the stadium)

Salary: £11.50 per hour

BQC LTD are looking for a self-motivated, detail orientated and hardworking supervisor to join our team at The Memorial Stadium. You will be responsible for making sure that the site is clean, presentable, and ready for use at all times.

You will be responsible for…

· All day to day cleaning in and around the Stadium.

· Duties include litter picking/sweeping external areas & operating basic cleaning machinery.

• Dust & damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitising, cleaning windows.

· Cleaning restrooms to include; restocking dispensers, emptying rubbish, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.

•Opening and un-alarming certain areas of the stadium.

· Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and organisation of areas used for events (events are diarised)

· Ordering and managing stock levels.

· Organising staff rota for Match Days and events.

· Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.

You will have…

· Previous experience as a cleaner supervisor.

•Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.

•Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas for concern for support from the Facilities Co-ordinator/Manager.

•Behold weekly team meetings and briefing sessions with your team to ensure clear and consistent communication.

•Managing the ordering of stock and consumables, updating of the stock management system and also the distribution to cleaning cupboards.

•You will come into regular contact with customers/ the clients so it is important that you can assist them if needed and that you can communicate at all levels.

About You:

•Previous experience as a cleaning supervisor is essential.

•Experience in staffing, rotas, and training.

•Excellent customer service skills.

The ideal candidates will have previous experience (however training will be provided) and will be passionate about their work with a keen eye for detail.

Location: Failand, near Long Ashton, Bristol.

Hours: 3 hours per day, 5:30pm - 8:30pm, Monday to Friday and weekend work in rotation (flexible hours)

Rate of Pay: £9.00-£10.50 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Ability to undertake a range of manual cleaning activities, including:

· Surface cleaning, including furnishings, fixtures and fittings

· Cleaning floors, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and polishing

· Cleaning washroom areas, including toilets, sinks etc.

· Replenish customer supplies, i.e. toilet roll, hand towels, hand soap

· Clearing and removing rubbish
