We remain open all day, every day, throughout the xmas and new year break. 7am until last wash in by 6pm.

There will be no attendee on the 25th, 27th Dec nor on the 1st Jan.

We're happy to report that the roadworks on Kingsway are finally finished and road access is back to normal. Alas, the 'fun' isn't quite over yet... we've been advised that the car park potholes are being repaired on Monday 17th March and the car park will be closed on that day. We will remain open as usual and there will be free street parking by the precinct for customer use. But if you can avoid that day and come another day instead, that would probably be easier for everyone as spaces will be limited. Thanks.

We just wanted to warn everyone that the shop will be closed on Tues 31st Aug and Wed 1st Sept. This is for essential electrical work, ready for the next stage of our carbon footprint improvements. Apologies for any inconvenience and we should be open every day before and then again afterwards on the Thursday 2nd Sept. We will keep our website updated with any changes. Thanks.

Following the government's announcement that most Covid measures are being lifted on Monday 19th July, we want to reassure everyone that our commitment to maintaining a high standard of hygiene & cleanliness will continue to be in place.

Masks will be optional but do please be considerate to others, give space where possible and use the hand sanitiser which will remain on the wall by the entrance.

A huge thank you to everyone who continued to support our shop during these tough times - the St. George and surrounding communities have been amazing! Thanks.

We are happy to announce that our cashless payments system is now live. 🎉 No more having to bring change with you - payments accepted by coin, card or even directly on your mobile! No app to download, no registering, etc. We’re the first business in Europe to have this system so pop in and try it soon. 😊

We have had a lot of people checking if we're still open during the lockdown. We can confirm that, yes, we ARE open as usual throughout all lockdowns and tiers as we are classed as an 'essential service'. Please do continue to come but also please remember to bring AND WEAR a face covering at all times while in the shop and maintain social distancing where possible.
We also continue to offer service washes, including collection & delivery for those that need it - priority given to those who are older and/or shielding.
Stay safe everyone and thanks for using your local launderette.

Due to demand (and Covid) we have restarted SERVICE WASHES, via COLLECTION AND DELIVERY for those who prefer, or need, to stay at home.
We will soon be adding staffed hours too at the shop - something else people have been asking for.

We can confirm that we WILL be staying open throughout the second lockdown this month, every day as usual, from 7am and closing at 6pm if empty.
We know we are a service that so many of you rely on and really do appreciate your custom.

Covid 19 - Due to demand, we’re still open. Please wash your hands before coming and use our hand sanitisers while in the shop. We are disinfecting the surfaces regularly and doing what we can but please be sensible if you come. Ideally leave your laundry going in the machine and come back around the time it will finish to help with social distancing in the shop. If we have to close, we will update both on our website and here. Thank you.
