⚠️ IMPORTANT HOT TUB SAFETY ADVICE ⚠️
We’ve recently attended another hot tub with a power supply issue, and it’s something every hot tub owner should be aware of.
In our professional opinion, a hot tub should not be run from a standard 13-amp plug and socket. The power demand of a hot tub is simply too high, especially during colder months when heaters and pumps are working harder to maintain temperature.
Over time, the constant electrical load can place excessive strain on the plug, socket, neutral, and live terminals. This can lead to:
❌ Overheating connections
❌ Burnt-out plugs and sockets
❌ Electrical faults
❌ Unexpected downtime
❌ Potential safety risks
A correctly installed, dedicated electrical supply by a qualified electrician is always the safest and most reliable option for long-term hot tub ownership.
If you’re unsure how your hot tub is powered, or you’d like us to inspect your setup, get in touch. A simple check today could prevent a costly repair tomorrow.
