Who are we? We are a family run business, with a further 7 employees. Our aim is to give value for money solutions in our very demanding field of expertise.

Based in the South West UK, providing contract cleaning, grounds maintenance and compliance testing services to the commercial sector, specialising in apartment buildings We run 3 teams who cover the south west, largely along the M5 corridor from Bristol to Plymouth. That field is Contract Cleaning, and Contract Grounds Maintenance. We specialise in assisting Property Managers maintain the apartme

nt blocks and estates that they manage - put simply, we are here to make you look good to your clients!

Just recently we carried out quite a tricky grounds maintenance job for a housing association client. One of the residents at the development took a close interest in our work and struck up a rapport with the team, which we love. On completion of the works he sent us this on behalf of all the residents:

“Your team have just completed an overgrown tree and big hedge job here in Cotford St Luke and I want to say how impressed we are with their work ethic. They worked hard and quickly, kept exactly to their time schedule and left the site spotless. We have no hesitation in recommending UCS unreservedly. Well done.”

What is so gratifying about this is that it was totally unsolicited, and reflects what we try to achieve on behalf of all of our customers. We are truly grateful to this client for taking the initiative and time to communicate this!

We are looking for someone living in the Bridgwater/Taunton area to join us. Our team covers varied roles from commercial contract cleaning, to commercial grounds maintenance. If you have some experience in these areas, that would be ideal but not essential as full training will be given. You will need to be able to demonstrate initiative, and work well in a team. You will need a valid driving licence. We are looking at 4/5 days per week depending on our schedule. Initially the role is to cover long term leave if a few months, but could become permanent.
