This is not how we saw our weekend ending.. absolutely gutted for Hayden and Barry. Tough pill to swallow unfortunately the harsh reality of motorsport. Hayden has been extremely unlucky this season and the results have not shown his ability or development in car and driver since the start of the season. The car is in a bad way and the dust needs to stop settle on the weekend. This journey isn’t over!

Great potential and the pace is definitely there. Luck has not been on our side this season. Onwards to Silverstone in a few weeks.

🟠🟠 Race Report Snetterton Round 4 🟠🟠

Friday practice went well (dry track, sunny conditions), felt confident for the weekends races.

Saturday Qualifying was wet but I was 11th quickest. Not bad, I was quite happy with that.

Race 1 was dry and sunny and I fought my way through to 7th place, which was later bumped up to 6th after judicials. My best result yet and I was very happy with the result.

Sunday had two race. Race 1 was dry again and I felt sure of a good result, but it wasn’t to be. A driver in front of me got it wrong through Brundle and I couldn’t avoid driving into the back of them. Not a huge impact but enough to puncture my radiator. DNF 🙁

Final race was super wet and I started right at the back. I got an amazing start and made 5 places by the hairpin. I continued to work my way through until the flag, managing 15th (up 12 places).

Difficult weekend with highs and lows, but overall I’m pleased with my driving and the car set ups. Got to take the positives away and move on.

After very promising testing, had the pace in Qualifying P8 Not the race results we wanted, DNF. 14th and another 14th. Not the weekend we had the pace for but that’s racing. Anglesey did not disappoint great venue and another great weekend with the BPC team! Fantastic team over coming a weekend of challenges.

And just like that round 1 of the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship done. Mega driving by Hayden. Best result to date P8 in race 2 and on for a top 5 in race 3 if it wasn’t for the red flag ending the race after 1 lap. Move onto Mallory next month. Watch out Podium Hayden is coming. Mega working with BPC for the first time!
