After 10 years of professional cleaning, here are a few things I’ve learned:

🧼 Let your cleaner sit for 5–10 minutes before scrubbing.
🧽 Clean from top to bottom so you’re not cleaning the same area twice.
🚪 Wipe high-touch areas like light switches, door handles, and remotes more often than you think.
🪟 Use a dry microfiber cloth first to remove dust before using a damp one.
🚿 Squeegee your shower after each use to help prevent hard water buildup.
🧺 Fold your microfiber cloth into fourths so you get multiple clean surfaces from one cloth.
🗑️ Empty your trash before it starts to smell not after.
🛏️ Wash your pillowcases weekly. They’re one of the biggest collectors of oil, sweat, and bacteria.
🧹 Clean your cleaning tools. Dirty cloths and mop pads don’t clean well.
✨ Remember: Consistency beats perfection. A little maintenance each week is much easier than waiting until everything needs a deep clean.
