We’re not out today for obvious reasons, 🌞!

Absolutely can’t clean cars in this heat, in direct sunlight.

Although we do take measures, always cool the paintwork down thoroughly before applying any products and rinsing before any products dry.

Ideally, if you know we’re coming, park your vehicles in a shaded area if possible to be worked on.

I may get the gazebo out and use that if possible to fit on your drive etc if sun is at its best.

Becareful using hand car washes, they like to put TFR straight on to your paint work, probably hot, that’s most likely going to damage your paintwork straight away. Also, machine polishing in direct sunlight and already hot paint work is a no.

We’re back out next week for your regular, maintenance washes, mini valets, full valets etc.

If you ever require a full on valet, machine polishing, ceramic treatment etc, we know someone local that has 40 plus years experience and is absolutely top class. The best about.

We just need to be able to plug our own extension cable in and our hose reel. But we can provide our own water if you don’t have an outside tap. Push come to shove, we do have onboard electric (petrol generator) but dread to know what it now costs to run. Also a reasonable working area would be grateful, away from other cars. Full valets we require to use our own extension cable and to be plugged directly into a wall socket.

Also if any obstructions like luggage etc could be taken out it would be grateful. Baby seats we can’t remove or re fit for insurance purposes.

If rain or bad weather is forecast, we may reschedule for the next convention day to suit both parties.

After testing on our own vehicles and have been pretty impressed. We will now use KKD Citrus Pre Wash as a pre wash via our new spray pumper.

This replaces our snow foam pre wash. Snow foam is ok, but I feel this has more bite in it, safely. We totally avoid TFR, abrasive, acid based products than can cause more damage than good. Plus in the windy weather that we’ve had, the snow foam can travel and be inconvenient to some, plus the foam can linger for a few hours before disintegrating on driveways and to some customers is unsightly.

So for various reasons, I think this is the right move. Probably costs the same as snow foam.

I’ve ordered more of the KKD Citrus Pre Wash because no doubt supplies may get low🙄.

If a third party, i.e. a garage or car dealership etc is paying for your valet, we require payment before we start any work.

Been caught out before and not risking again for anyone.

Just had to layout £800 for mot, repair, replace equipment 😏.

No availability this coming week, not possible to cram any more in.

Now the weather is getting better, we’ll be back on track.

Van been in for MOT and all sorted. Machinery repair and maintenance also as had a nightmare.

If you require interior shampooed, ideally bring the vehicle to us, we can drop you off, pick you up etc. Or if we come to you, we need to plug our upholstery cleaner in via our own specially rated made extension cable directly into a wall socket.

We’ve ran at times, both our 2 upholstery machines through customers extension or even 2 extensions. The machine wattage gives voltage drop out over the metre length of normal extension cables. Caught me out 😂. £200 to fix each machine, vacuum motors ruined🙄. Live and learn.

Also just bought a higher rated extension cable for the pressure washer as again your average extension cable isn’t rated suitable.

We are back out tomorrow doing jobs and taking bookings.

We have had a little lay off, Covid hit us pretty bad and are finally recovered fully. Also Gav has been struggling with his back, some days literally unable to move and in a lot of pain. But is on the mend 😊.

Prices

✅No acid based or abrasive products such as TFR used. No brushes or sponges are used either, we use grit guard buckets and lambs wool wash mitts. This is all aimed to reduce the risk of scratches, swirls and holograms in your paint work that cheap car washes possibly do. We look after your car and treat it as our own.

🧾Liability Insurance, Full UK Driving License Holder.

🚰⚡Onboard water and electricity, but if we have access to use yours its grateful.

🗺️We cover Boston and surrounding areas but will travel for mini and full valets at no extra charge depending on distance.

✅All that we require is adequate space and ideally off road parking to work on your vehicle and away from other vehicles as possible just incase and snow foam etc blows on neighbouring vehicles. If major problems we have a location where we can work on your vehicle. You can bring your vehicle to us and I can drop you off and pick you back up when finished or I can pick your vehicle up as hold full UK driving licence and return to you when finished.

💺👶We also ask if you could remove child/baby seats ready for us. Child/baby seats are also required to be refitted by you. Under any circumstances we are not able to refit.

🌧 If high risk of rain, we may change the appointment, something to discuss and arrange if occurs. Nothing worse and unprofessional getting caught out in it. We aim to plan jobs differently to leave adequate space if this happens.

📆 We work Monday to Friday as a rule to spend the weekend with our family. But will work one 1 weekend in a month if required.

Polite Notice

If you require upholstery to be cleaned via our specialist machinery we must use our own extension cable that we had specifically made with 4mm cable inside. Extension cables that are bought from diy stores etc will not be sufficient, they all probably for a guess have a maximum of 1.5mm cable. Using those extension cables they are say 10m etc long with that rated cable with most machinery will cause voltage drop out. Over time this damages our equipment. Today the 3rd time in a year our machine has blown a vacuum motor due to us probably plugging our extension cable into another.

Our extension has to be plugged directly into a 13amp wall socket. This is advised for machinery like this.

Luckily we are equipped and have 2 of each our machinery incase this happens.

So going forward we just need to prevent this happening again.

Anyway nearly the weekend so all positive 😊

Prices

✅No acid based or abrasive products such as TFR used. No brushes or sponges are used either, we use grit guard buckets and lambs wool wash mitts. This is all aimed to reduce the risk of scratches, swirls and holograms in your paint work that cheap car washes possibly do. We look after your car and treat it as our own.

🧾Liability Insurance, Full UK Driving License Holder.

🚰⚡Onboard water and electricity, but if we have access to use yours its grateful.

🗺️We cover Boston and surrounding areas but will travel for mini and full valets at no extra charge depending on distance.

✅All that we require is adequate space and ideally off road parking to work on your vehicle and away from other vehicles as possible just incase and snow foam etc blows on neighbouring vehicles. If major problems we have a location where we can work on your vehicle. You can bring your vehicle to us and I can drop you off and pick you back up when finished or I can pick your vehicle up as hold full UK driving licence and return to you when finished.

💺👶We also ask if you could remove child/baby seats ready for us. Child/baby seats are also required to be refitted by you. Under any circumstances we are not able to refit.

🌧 If high risk of rain, we may change the appointment, something to discuss and arrange if occurs. Nothing worse and unprofessional getting caught out in it. We aim to plan jobs differently to leave adequate space if this happens.

📆 We work Monday to Friday as a rule to spend the weekend with our family. But will work one 1 weekend in a month if required.

💳 💷Cash or Bank Transfer Payment to our Business Account Accepted. (arranging new card reader). Payments to be made upon completion of the job please.

🧾Official printed and/or email invoice can be can be provided on the same day as the work carried out.
