✨ A clean kitchen isn’t just about shiny worktops… don’t forget your sink! ✨
Black sinks and taps look stunning, but they do need a little extra care to keep them looking their best.
🖤 A few simple tips:
• Rinse away coffee, tea, food residue and sauces after use.
• Dry with a microfibre cloth to help prevent watermarks and limescale.
• Clean little and often using warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
• For limescale, use a gentle descaler that’s safe for your sink’s finish, then rinse thoroughly.
🚫 What not to do:
• Don’t use bleach or harsh chemicals regularly.
• Don’t use wire wool, scourers or abrasive cream cleaners.
• Don’t leave vinegar or acidic cleaners sitting on the surface for long periods.
• Don’t leave metal tins, cast iron pans or cutlery sitting in the sink, as they can sometimes leave marks or staining.
If your black sink has already started to lose its rich colour, don’t panic. In many cases it can be carefully restore its appearance with the right products and techniques.
