This is why I love cleaning… the end results after a good scrub ✨

For some, cleaning can feel overwhelming and hard to keep on top of.
For others, life simply gets in the way.

Whether it’s:
• Feeling unsure where to start
• Health or illness making it difficult
• A busy schedule that never seems to slow down
• Or just one of those “I’ll do it tomorrow” moments (we’ve all been there!)

Everyone deserves a clean, calm space to come home to, and sometimes a little helping hand makes all the difference 💛

✨ One of my regular commercial cleans ✨

A fresh, clean pub ready for another busy day! 🍻

Today’s clean included:
✨ Bar area
✨ Restaurant
✨ 5 toilets
✨ Polished beer pumps – because every pub deserves pumps that shine! ✨

It’s the little details that make all the difference, and sparkling beer pumps are one of my favourite finishing touches.

✨ It’s easy to forget certain areas during your regular clean, but these hidden spots can collect dust, dirt, and germs over time.

That’s why I make sure they’re cleaned on every visit, not just the obvious areas. It’s the little details that make the biggest difference to leaving your home feeling truly fresh and hygienic. 🧼✨

Because a professional clean is about more than what you can see. 💚

It's the start of a new month, month 7 argh... where is the year going?! 🤯

One topic that's certainly been on our minds recently is lithium-ion batteries. There have been lots of updates surrounding these, and for good reason. Lithium-ion batteries are powering more of our lives than ever before... but they are also becoming an increasing fire risk.

Across the UK, the fire and rescue services attended more than 1,300 lithium-ion battery fires during 2024—an average of over three fires every day. The number of incidents has almost doubled in just two years, highlighting the growing importance of using, storing and disposing of these batteries safely.

Whether it's an e-bike, e-scooter, laptop, mobile phone, power tool or v**e, taking a few simple precautions can make all the difference.

✅ Never dispose of lithium-ion batteries or electrical items containing them in your general waste or mixed recycling.

✅ Avoid storing e-bikes and e-scooters in escape routes, hallways or near final exits where a fire could prevent people from escaping safely.

✅ Never leave batteries charging unattended for prolonged periods where possible, and always use the charger supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.

✅ Ensure your smoke detection arrangements provide suitable coverage for areas where lithium-ion batteries are stored or routinely charged. This is important in both homes and workplaces, providing the earliest possible warning should a battery fail.

✅ Where larger numbers of batteries are stored, or higher-risk batteries are present, consider whether a fire-resisting and ventilated storage cabinet is appropriate for your site.

✅ If a battery becomes damaged, swollen, unusually hot or has suffered an impact, stop using it immediately and arrange for it to be disposed of safely.

♻️ In Suffolk, unwanted batteries and electrical items should be taken to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre or another designated battery recycling point. Many supermarkets also provide collection bins for household batteries.

As lithium-ion batteries become part of everyday life, understanding how to use, store and dispose of them safely is becoming an important part of both home and workplace fire safety.

My Halloween mug handle broke so rather than throw it away I’ve given him hair with one of our baby spider plants💀🪴

I might fill the holes on the side and paint one day…. But probably won’t 😅

I’ve added a bit of rubble underneath the soil for drainage space.
Sometimes we can re-use items for a different purpose rather than just throwing in the bin ( even tho I don’t know which bin out of the 20 we now have!)

Do you struggle with organising and keeping those cupboards under control, only for an avalanche to happen every time you open them? 😅

Tubs, trays and baskets are an absolute game changer!

Trying to rummage through the fridge drawer for one onion hidden amongst loads of plastic packets? Pop things into separate tubs and suddenly everything’s easy to find.

Those 10,000 cups and bottles your child insists on keeping? Stack them neatly in trays so they stay tidy and are easy to grab.

Once everything has a home, it becomes so much easier to keep on top of the mess and maintain that organised feeling ✨
