An open fire that hadn’t been swept for three years brought back to safe working order.

🔥 1920s Magic Restored 🔥

A gorgeous 1920s open fireplace with stunning green tiles that wouldn’t look out of place in a Harry Potter portal ✨

🔥 Back to Safe Burning 🔥

This weeks most notable sweep was on a Lotus H370 log burner that hadn’t been cleaned for years. There were clear signs of a previous chimney fire inside the flexi liner and larger than normal amount of soot and debris removed.

After a thorough sweep and a brief camera survey the system was confirmed safe to use again. Swipe to see the volume of soot the cleaned stove and the final smoke test.

Regular sweeping is essential for preventing chimney fires and keeping your stove running safely and efficiently.
