Following our post I made on March 29th and after a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Coupar Angus Laundrette from this Saturday 30th May. Our doors will still be open next week for those of you needing to collect and say goodbye whilst we move our machines.

Sadly, despite our best efforts, things simply haven’t worked out the way we had hoped. Small businesses face many challenges, especially in this economy, and this hasn’t been an easy decision for us to make.

We do, however, want to take a moment to sincerely thank every single person who supported us, recommended us, popped in for a chat, or trusted us with their laundry over the months we have been open. Your support genuinely meant the world to us, and we’re incredibly grateful to have been part of the local Coupar Angus community❤️

Although our Laundrette and self service option is closing, this isn’t the end for us. Our laundry services will still continue through our app, where customers can book collections and deliveries with ease (links to download posted on our page previously), and our Blairgowrie site will remain OPEN and thriving as normal.

We truly hope to continue serving many of you in this next chapter.

Hello everyone!

We thought we’d make a post considering we’ve had a few regulars in mentioning it to us. We know about the new outdoor washing machines popping up nearby.. and while competition is a natural part of running a business, we want to acknowledge the potential impact it could have on our relatively new venture with the Laundrette.

For those of you who may not know about us - we’re a local, indoor, fully manned Laundrette in Coupar Angus offering highly reviewed services in your area since Sept last year.

That means we offer:

✔️ A clean, safe, warm space while you wait
✔️ Friendly staff on hand to help at all times
✔️ Full service washes or ironing options if you don’t have the time
✔️ Machines that are looked after & maintained daily

And most importantly we’re still offering ANY of our wash cycles for £6, with detergent and 30 minutes drying included. Any additional drying is a £1 every extra 10mins.

The point of this post is to be completely honest - small local businesses like ours can’t compete long term if customers choose to use bigger chains instead. We rely on our community to help keep the doors open. So if you value having a proper laundrette in your area ran by people who value giving back, offering real personable services, and a place you can trust, we’d genuinely appreciate your support.

Unfortunately it’s a case of use us or lose us. We are happy to take on any feedback that would help encourage more of you to walk through our door.
