📣 Important Update from Tangerine Bin Clean

I wanted to share something honestly with all of you who have supported my business. Over the last few months, I’ve been facing ongoing issues with my van as well as financial difficulties, especially at this time of year. On top of that, with two children already and twins on the way, it’s made me stop and rethink what’s best for my family’s future.

I’ve also been working recently as a subcontractor bricklayer, and it’s made me realise how lonely I actually was running the business day-to-day. While the freedom was amazing at first, the novelty wore off, and I’ve realised I’m a very social person who thrives around others.

I could get a new van and be back up and running by spring — but there’s no guarantee where the business would be by then, and I can’t take any more big risks right now. So after a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to either sell my round or potentially dissolve Tangerine Bin Clean altogether.

This decision hasn’t been easy. I want to say a massive thank you to every single customer who supported me, believed in my service, and helped me on this journey. I genuinely appreciate all of you.

📢 Important Announcement from Tangerine Bin Clean

It comes with real regret and a heavy heart that I need to temporarily close the business.

My van needs repairs, and right now I don’t have the funds to get it sorted properly. Rather than provide a service I can’t fully commit to, I’ve made the difficult decision to pause operations while I take on other work to save for a new van and cover bills.

This has been an incredibly hard decision for me. I’m genuinely sad to have to do this, I’ve always wanted to give my customers the best service possible. At the same time, I’m too proud to ask for a handout, and this is the only way I can get back on my feet without compromising my independence.

This break is also essential for my own wellbeing, the pressure has been affecting my mental health, and I need to step back to rebuild properly.

If you currently have a direct debit set up with me, please cancel it for now.
No payments should be going out while the service is paused.

I’m truly sorry to everyone who supports me. This isn’t the end, just a pause while I get things in order. I’ll be back stronger, more stable, and able to offer a reliable service again soon.

🟠 Payment Update 🟠

Although I’m currently on holiday (and promised myself no work 😅), I still have a fair few outstanding payments to chase up. Some are now over 66 days overdue.

From today, I’ll be requesting payments from anyone with an outstanding balance. If payment isn’t made, your address will be removed from my round — simple as that.

A massive thank you to everyone who’s already set up a Direct Debit or Standing Order — you’re helping me keep things running smoothly. Going forward, I’ll be asking all customers to do the same.

I’m a one-man team, and my focus should be on cleaning bins, not chasing payments.

Hey everyone! Just a quick update from Tangerine Bin Clean. We’ll be closing from Wednesday 22nd October as we’re heading off on holiday 🏖️

We’ll be back open and cleaning bins again from Monday 17th November 💪🧽

✅️All bins cleaned on monday 20th and tuesday the 21st will have normal cleans the following week ✅️
