Hi Everyone.
I've been slowly making a return to work recently and i do have a few people to make new appointments with still, which i apologise for, but rather than jump fully into things and regret the decision of causing further delays to appointments i wanted to see how i would be coping with the work load. It has been a struggle but I'm getting there, so i will begin to make appointments for those still waiting to hear from me!
I just want to update everyone on what's been going on the last couple of days now that family members are aware.
Since my latest admission to hospital I have been informed and diagnosed with Acute coronary syndrome ( this is part of the coronary heart disease family) happy birthday to me 🙄
Obviously this is new to me and I'm yet to be made aware of impacts, limitations etc that this may bring, apart from the things I've been experiencing over the past 2 years.
As all of you know who have used me before I'm open and very honest, and as customers i would expect to be kept in the loop too! Those who are new to me that have had appointments scheduled over the last few weeks and have yet to meet, i've also been honest with, so that you have a full understanding of the situation and i thank you for the ongoing support. Not forgetting my lovely customer who had to act fast and call the ambulance for me when I fell ill, without you things could have deteriorated further!!
I am not going to lie, i have struggled to maintain the business throughout this period and being forced off hasn't helped, after what has already been a challenging year. I am exhausted from it all, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger i guess.
There are a few decisions I need to make in which I will be doing so over the next few weeks once I've caught up and to decide what I am going to do with the business. It may be that I go part time but I don't know at this stage, I've been pre-advised that stress doesn't help my diagnosis ( not great for a weather dependent business. Especially this year 🙈 )
As ever, I will keep everyone updated with what's going on and where we all stand with any changes going forward, but I just want to thank everyone for your support for the business and me. It really is valued!
I managed to get out to complete 2 vehicles on Monday morning. (Although I'm embarrassed about it being so long after the booking was made) But with this Customers understanding of the situation I've faced as a business and her liking to treat her vehicles now and again, just over 12 months later we got there and put our work into these vehicles, and applying our first winter protection package of 2024!
2 Full valets carried out with a full decontamination, panel prep and polish finished with the hydrophobic coating layer!
