Blitzed 24/7 Our Goal is to continue to provide a first class cleaning service to all of our customers. We clean, you relax and enjoy!

We aim to give you the time back for you to enjoy your weekends for what is most important to you. We are a growing team of professional cleaners. It all began back in 2013 with only myself as a solo cleaner. I now employ a small team of eight cleaners who work in and around County Durham Weardale and Stockton on Tees. We are continually recruiting as more work comes our way and hope to have a team of around 20 local professional cleaners by the end of 2021.

Bathroom Bitz!

Bathrooms are probably the most used room in your home.

Showering, bathing, washing hair, brushing teeth, applying makeup and lotions and potions they are constantly being used throughout the day.

We as cleaners love cleaning bathrooms but with an average of between 2-3 hours to clean the FULL house on a regular weekly/ fortnightly clean and despite doing a great job, your bathroom may need more.

A good deep clean of one bathroom can take anywhere from 2-5 hours depending on the size and condition of the bathroom.

We now offer a bathroom blitz either once or twice a year just for our regular customers in which you can just add the payment your regular monthly payment as an extra to help spread the cost. This could be as little as an extra £4.25 per bathroom per month over 12 months.

This is what we will do-

Tackle limescale, hard water marks, cleanshower heads, clean filters, seals on showers, all chrome, cleaning tiles and grout, cleaning of extractor fan, light fittings, heated towel racks/radiator, all chrome, shower traps, waste plugs, sinks, bath, toilet, shower, shelving, all glass and mirrors, window sills tracks and surfaces, window frames, bins, clean and tidy inside drawers and cupboards, wipe down all products, clean and disinfect toilet brush holder, wash down door and frames.

We are looking for a handy person/ cleaner to join our team of professional cleaners in and around the Bishop Auckland area.

This may suit a retired person looking to boost their pension who is fit and able to carry out cleaning tasks and is able to do a few simple DIY tasks for our lovely customers.

We are starting a monthly bathroom deep clean service from April.

We understand that the bathroom is probably the most used room in your home.

Constantly being used by all members of your family to shower, brush teeth, wash, wash hair, bathe and more.

Even with a regular cleaner it may not be getting the attention to keep it in great condition as most cleaners will have all the other areas in the home to also clean some on as little as two hours for the whole house which is a wonder in itself ( yes we are sometimes miracle workers!)

Places like tiles, shower traps, runs on shower doors, plastic seals on showers, plugs, waste runs backs of loos, radiators may not be receiving the attention they need in the little time we cleaners have been allocated for a full house clean.

To keep your bathroom in tip top condition a monthly bathroom blitz maybe the answer!

We can dedicate enough time for each bathroom/shower room to tackle things like limescale build up ( particularly if you live in hard water areas)
Shower trap cleaning,
Seals on showers,
Tile cleaning
Full steam clean of toilets, baths, shower trays, sinks and any other area in the bathroom requiring steam cleaning.

We will also arrange your products and cupboards, and bin any empties for you.

Good clean of radiators shelves

Clean inside of
cupboards ect mirrors windows sills and skirtings.

Happy work anniversary to one of my super hero’s Josh!

5 years today you joined our little team and what a great asset you are.

If any of you have yet to meet Josh here is a little info about him:

Josh is a friendly and helpful young man who gets on great with all our customers.
Other than spending most of his time cleaning one of his great interest is wildlife, particularly elephants.

Josh had the pleasure of working with Elephants whilst on holiday in Thailand a few years ago, then in 2024 he jetted to Borneo where he was lucky enough to spend the entire trip seeking out the wildlife there.

This year it’s Sri Lanka he is visiting, yes you guessed it to go on a safari!

Good morning.
Just a little insight to what we do for a weekly general clean and how you can help us to make sure you are getting want you want for your clean.

This is what we normally include in our weekly general cleans, it’s a lot in comparison to what many other cleaners consider to be their general clean.

We clean easy to get to windows on a regular basis
We clean all paintwork such as -

Skirting boards
Window sills
Clean paintwork on stairs
Clean backs of doors
Clean tops of door frames
Clean glass panels in stairs
Clean mirrors

Clean / polish furniture

Clean kitchen worktops and fronts
Clean items on surfaces
Clean front of oven and hob
Clean cooker hood
Clean sink
Clean all chrome (taps ect)
Clean microwave front

Toilets throughly cleaned include inside and out
Disinfected thoroughly
Sinks & taps
Baths
Showers
Shower filters cleaned
Tiles wiped down
All chrome cleaned
Extractor dusted
Shower head wiped
Heated towel rack cleaned
Toilet roll holder cleaned
Toilet brush holder cleaned
All products tided and towels folded
Floors cleaned
Mirrors cleaned
Plug holes cleaned

Bedrooms dusted
Side tables moved and dusted behind
Headboards dusted
Light shades dusted
Bedside Lights dusted
Curtain poles dusted
Blinds dusted
Pictures dusted
Shelving dusted
Waste bins emptied
All beds tidied
Tops of doors dusted
Tops of Tv dusted
Fronts of drawers and wardrobes dusted

Sofas hoovered if possible
Sofas tided
Cushions tidied

Fireplaces hoovered where possible

Hoovered throughout and all floors mopped.

This is our general clean which we would do on a weekly basis wherever possible but there are factors which prevent us from doing all of these things which are listed below, if you feel that your home is not as clean as you want it to be it’s probably because of one of the factors listed below.
We are here to help and hope that by adding this post it will help you to get as much as you can from our service.

These things include the following-

TIME- this is huge, we are fast, a lot faster than most as we have the tools, a great system in place and experience to help us to be efficient as possible.
We do ask customers to be realistic with what we can do if they have a budget.

FREQUENCY- if you opt for a fortnightly clean this may require more than 2 hours to get all jobs done.

BED MAKING-we have no problem in tiding beds but we ask that you be realistic of the time needed to tidy beds, especially if this requires picking up from the floor or placing lots of toys/ cushions throws ect on the bed.
We may have to straighten sheets pop back duvets,plump up pillows and cushions and throws, all takes time especially if there is more than one bed.

We do change beds, it’s not a problem for us but we charge a fee for doing so as this takes additional time and effort.

PICKING UP- if we have to pick up items left out before we begin to clean this takes time away from what we are able to spend on cleaning.
We have sometimes spent more that half the time we are given to clean picking up clothing, toys, cushions, throws, shoes, paperwork, bedding, shampoo makeup, toiletries, food empty food products and dishes. We have no problem doing this, but it won’t get your house clean unless we have more time.

WASHING DISHES - again not a problem for us but does require extra time as this is taking away from the have we have left to clean.

CLEANING INSIDE OVENS- this is something we do not do.
This is a specialist job that we are not insured for and can take up to 5 hours to clean properly.

CLEANING INSIDE KITCHEN CUPBOARDS- this is not included in our general clean.
A full kitchen cupboard clean can take around 8 hours! Yep seriously, so this would only be done in a deep clean.

WE DO NOT go under beds unless there is nothing to pull out from underneath and that only if there is space to get hoover under.
We would only move heavy furniture and items under in deep cleaning.

CLEANING INSIDE FRIDGE- again only done in a deep clean or if additional time was given.

CLEANING GROUT in showers / kitchens
This again can take hours to do properly so this is only offered in a deep clean of your home.

HEAVY GREASE REMOVAL in kitchen is offered as a deep clean only.

SHOWER HEADS - can be cleaned but thick limescale will require additional time for a deep clean same with heavy soiled toilets baths showers ect.

HARD WATER- hard water can be a nightmare to clean in a short space of time so please be mindful that if you have hard water then additional time would need to be spent in bathrooms to remove it and regular deep cleaning may be required.

PETS- we love our customers cats and dogs! They bring is much joy while we are there cleaning.
Unfortunately they can add more time to our cleans, not just because we can’t resist a cuddle or two but because of shed hair.
We do have tools for this problem but it may also add time onto our stay.

LEGO - sorry to all you lego fans and yes it looks fab all built up! But it does stop us from dusting those shelves that it sits on! So please understand we are not given to time to delicately lift every single item from each shelf and put it back just as carefully we may not get those shelves dusted.

HOARDING- again something we are happy to work with but an overly cluttered home can take all day to do only one room.

I hope this has helped see how we may need additional time to do all the things we want to do in our general cleans.
We do hope you are entirely happy with your cleans but if not it may be worth looking to increase your time so we can do even more for you.
