Having problems with your CCTV system? Elite FM service CCTV systems as part of a maintenance contract or one off visit.
As part of our maintenance contract, if your CCTV system develops a fault an Engineer's visit will be arranged as soon as possible.
If you have a mainteance contract the cost of a call out is charged at a lower rate than if you were a non-contract customer.
What is checked during a service?
- The picture quality of each camera and monitor
- Look out for any signs of condensation on housing windows
- Check of all controllable functions e.g./ pan, tilt, zoom
- Operation of recorder(s) i.e./ record and display
- Retention time of recorded images meets the specification
- Operation of special equipment such as video multiplexers, date and time generators
- Any interfaces with alarms e.g./ movement alarms, sensors
- Check of camera movement and that field of view is clear from obstruction, such as branches
- All warning labels are in place (e.g./ movement, voltage, laser emissions)
- Check that external, flexible cables are properly supported and undamaged
- Examination of all metal work especially towers and brackets, for signs of corrosion and damage
- Check of seals on all external equipment
- Check of all external and internal wiring for signs of wear and fraying
- Check of all fixed and flexible conduit's for signs of damage
- Check the function of supplementary lighting, including IR and photocells (where possible)
- Check the integrity of all supports including cables
On top of all of this our Engineer's will also wipe the camera screen and remove any cobwebs if there are any. We can also of course install any additional CCTV equipment you may require.
