Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Domestic Cleaner to assist with the cleaning and upkeep of private residences. As a Domestic Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and comfortable living environment for our clients. Your main duties will include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring that all areas of the home are spotless and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, appliances, and floors.
- Wipe down and polish surfaces, including furniture, windows, mirrors, and glass.
- Change bed linens and make beds.
- Empty and clean trash bins and replace liners.
- Assist with light household chores, such as washing dishes and folding laundry.
- Follow specific instructions and guidelines provided by clients regarding cleaning preferences and any special requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor or homeowner.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the clients at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Domestic Cleaner or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to different cleaning preferences.
