Kicking of Messy Monday with some very satisfying soot sucking action to share with you all 😍

Plenty of the black stuff removed from this Woodford Stove during its annual sweep and check 😅 but nothing the old soot devil vacuum 😈 couldnt handle!!

Safe to say its always a wise choice to get your chimney swept and appliance checked before the burning season 🔥

Enjoy soot fans!

Sick of dust and debris falling on top of your stove?

This customer was, but not anymore ✅️

Ask us about our flue debris collars, we carry them on the van and they work wonders 👌

Say goodbye to a messy stove top and get yourself one fitted 👍🏻

Sooty Sundays are back on the menu and the annual sweep of this multifuel stove in Wallasey certainly delivered plenty of the black stuff 😅👀

This stove is well used by my amazing customers and never fails to serve up some sooty satisfaction.

Yet another useful reminder why annual sweeping (as a minimum) and servicing of you chimney and appliances is a wise choice for all solid fuel users 🔥📆.

Enjoy soot fans 😍

A bit of a ghoulish 👻 find this morning for a new customer as we discovered the rear blanking plate on this stove was hanging off...leaving a gaping hole in the back of the stove 👀😅.

Luckily we always check these things when we come to sweep your chimney and carry spares on the van for situations like this 🛠✅️

Anyway its crisis averted, one happy customer and one more now ready for winter!! 🔥

I hope this highlights the importance of regular sweeping and servicing of your appliances, as a lot can change in a year 📆.

Theres more to sweeping chimneys than just shoving a brush up your flue 🤷‍♂️😅

This was the inaugural sweep of this Woodford Lowry stove in Wallasey and it certainly produced a large amount of the magic black powder 👀😅

Certainly enough to give the old soot devil.😈 vacuum a thorough work out at the end of what had been a busy old day...but as ever it didnt miss a beat 💪🏻💪🏻!!.

If nothing else this highlights the importance of sticking to a regular annual sweeping schedule its amazing what can build up over 12 months 📆

Enjoy Folks and have a fantastic weekend 🔥😍

With Halloween 🎃 round the corner it was only a matter of time before we discovered a horror show 😱

We were conducting a new home owner inspection of an open fire today and 3 rods up we encoutered some unusual resistance...so out with the CCTV for a quick peek to see what was holding us up 😅👀

What we see here is a damaged section of clay liner...with what appears to be a brick that has some how made its way down the flue (possibly damaging the liner on its travels) and rendering the flue unsafe to use in its current state...sadly this will be a costly repair for the customer, but at least they know whats going on and make an informed decison about what to do next.

So it was all tricks and no treats 🍬 for this customer today...but at least they are safe and not using a dangerous appliance and if nothing else its a good advert for new homeowner inspections 🏡🧐

If you or anyone you know has moved in to a property with a solid fuel appliance...then we advise that you get in touch with a qualified sweep to check it over before putting it to use 🔥

Another thirsty Thursday and some more soot sucking action from the rounds.

This was a sweep of a Charlton and Jenerick Purevision stove 🔥 for a new customer in Irby on the paradise peninsula 🏝

As you can see the flue was in need of a good sweep and plenty of the black stuff was removed, but the stove also requires a bit of TLC and some spare parts to get it back in to top shape for the burning season ahead...namely a new brickset, a new riddle grate and the door latch needs a bit of adjustment...so we will be back in a few weeks to get this sorted 🔥✅️

Did you know that most chimney sweeps are able to supply and fit parts for your stove? So if your stove requires a bit of a facelift and some maintenance why not reach out to your local sweep 🎩...they will usually be happy to help 🔥

Enjoy soot fans 😍🔥

Plenty more swept, checked and ready for the cooler months ahead 🔥

We are well in to the business end of the chimney sweeping season now as Autumn is has officially arrived 🍂🔥 so things are really heating up and diaries are filling rapidly for chimney sweeps up and down the country 🇬🇧

If you havent booked your annual chimney sweep yet we recommend you get in touch with your local sweep to see if they can get out to you before the big fella arrives again 🎅 and he doesnt judge you for having a filthy chimney 😂
