* Please note our emails and phones have been down or been intermittent for the last few days.

Please bare with me whilst I try to catch up with everything when I'm back from leave on Sunday. This is what being self-employed is all about.

Since setting up the company, I’ve worked every single day — and honestly, I don’t see that changing anytime soon because that’s just who I am. But one of the biggest benefits of being your own boss is the flexibility it gives you.

Booking a last minute week away with my son in Cornwall and spending time with my sister and the rest of her family. I’ll still be working while everyone else is off playing football or keeping busy, but I’ll also make sure to take some downtime and remind myself exactly why I work so hard in the first place.

Building a business takes sacrifice, consistency and long hours — but moments like this make it worth it. ☀️🌊💼

HOT WEATHER & OUR CLEANING TEAMS

With the temperatures rising this week, the wellbeing and safety of our teams remains our top priority. 💚

Cleaning is a very physical job, and many of our staff are working in warm properties, carrying equipment, completing deep cleans and moving constantly throughout the day.

During periods of extreme heat, some cleans may take slightly longer than normal as we ensure staff are:

💧 Staying hydrated
🌤️ Taking short cooling breaks where needed
🦺 Working safely and responsibly
❤️ Looking after their health and wellbeing

There are a few simple things clients can do to help our teams during hot weather:
✔️ Allow access to drinking water if possible
✔️ Keep windows open for ventilation before arrival
✔️ If safe to do so, allow fans or air conditioning to be used
✔️ Understand if cleans take a little longer than usual
✔️ Let us know in advance if a property becomes extremely hot indoors
