Running your own cleaning business definitely comes with its challenges! 😅
At the moment, members of the team are taking a well-deserved break, and I’d be lying if I said I haven’t wondered, “How are we going to fit it all in?” 😂
But with careful planning, a dedicated team and new members successfully onboarding, we’re making sure every hour is covered and every holiday let receives the same high standard of care.
One thing I’m particularly proud of is the processes we’ve been putting in place. Each holiday let has its own individually built checklist, tailored to the owner’s specific requirements. This means nothing gets missed and helps us consistently deliver the 5⭐️ standard our owners and guests expect.
Sometimes, when you’re juggling rotas, holidays, onboarding, cover and everything else that comes with running a business, you really do stop and think… “What am I doing?!” 😂
But then I walk into an accommodation and see it absolutely gleaming, hear how happy the guests are, and receive lovely feedback from our owners — and it reminds me exactly why I set the business up in the first place. ❤️
For such a young business, I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the team I’ve built. Watching everyone pull together while we continue to add structure and processes into our operations makes me incredibly proud.
There’s still lots to learn, improve and organise, but we’re growing, we’re learning and most importantly, we’re doing it together. 💪✨
Here’s to the busy days, the challenges, the problem-solving… and that amazing feeling when you step back and realise just how far you’ve come. 🧹✨
