Top tips for Air B&B owners - earning you the 5* reviews you deserve!

💥 Get yourself a consistent & reliable cleaner.
Your reviews should be reflecting top notch cleaning, ensuring you plenty of bookings and never loosing you money. 1 bad review can cost you thousands in bookings!

💥 Inspect your cleaning services
Either arrange for audits to be carried out by your cleaner or inspect the turnover yourself. Every detail matters. Have agreed check lists in place, ensuring everyone’s on the same page.

💥 Include deeper cleaning tasks on a rotational basis to ensure that the property’s cleanliness remains high throughout the year.

💥 Tasks will vary depending on the time of year. Winter months will present more cobwebs, mould, condensation, dirtier floors. Timings of cleans and a focus on these tasks will need to be taken into account.

💥 Ensure basic tasks are completed - toaster tray emptied, cutlery checked for coffee rings, drawers cleaned and organised for next guest, white good wiped out and emptied.

💥 Clean/ check radiators - yes we have found pizzas and chips wedged in radiators! Now imagine the review!

💥 Stained bedding, towels and tea towels are a no no! Replace items that are looking well used or have stains that cannot be removed.

💥 Provide basic cleaning products for guests - hoover, washing up cloth, dust pan and brush, washing up liquid and general cleaning spray.
