Good prep comes down to people.

Our teams work on site at dealer groups, car supermarkets, prep centres and auction sites, from South Wales and the South West to the Midlands and the North.

Same kit. Same standards. Same training, whichever site they're on.

When a car leaves our bay it's ready for the forecourt. That only happens when the people doing the work know exactly what good looks like.

A tidy bay says a lot about the work that comes out of it.

Every bottle labelled with exactly what's in it.
Risk assessments and safety data sheets on hand for the team.
Kit stored properly, cloths clean and ready to go.

It's not the exciting side of valeting, but it's what keeps our people safe and the standard the same on every car.

That's the standard we set for our bays at dealer groups, car supermarkets and prep centres across the country.

Most people only ever see the finished car.

Not the wash. Not the interior being done properly. Not the wheels, the glass, or the final check before it goes back out to the forecourt.

That's the part our teams do every day, on site at dealer groups, car supermarkets and prep centres across the country.

When it's done right, nobody notices it. They just see a car that's ready to sell.

A car waiting out the back for prep isn't earning anything.

It's a problem we see on a lot of sites. Stock arrives faster than it gets prepped, the queue builds, and cars that should be on the forecourt are stuck behind the workshop.

Our fix starts with having our own teams on site, so prep keeps up with the stock coming in.

Then the Grove Paperless System books every job digitally, so the site can see what's waiting, what's being worked on and what's ready to go.

Fewer cars sitting. More cars on sale.
