We regret having to share this publicly, but we feel it is necessary to clarify the events that took place during a recent booking.
Yesterday, our team attended a scheduled clean for a new client. Upon arrival and assessment, it became immediately clear that the job was beyond our scope of work. We are a domestic and commercial cleaning company that does not use harsh chemicals and is not equipped or insured to handle hazardous waste, including biohazards. These types of cleans require specialised training and certification for the safety of both our staff and clients.
Our team explained this to the client respectfully and professionally. Unfortunately, they were met with aggression, verbal abuse, and threats. This behaviour also caused distress to the client’s own family members who were present, as well as to our staff, who were simply doing their jobs and following our health and safety protocols.
We want to be very clear: the safety and well-being of our employees comes first. They are not trained or insured to clean hazardous environments, and it is unreasonable to expect them to put themselves at risk. We also cannot, and will not, engage in any clean involving human waste or similar biohazards.
Since the visit, we have received multiple threatening messages and calls from the same client, and have been made aware of untrue and defamatory posts being shared on social media. This is both upsetting and disappointing, especially given that we were not given accurate information about the nature of the clean prior to attending. Had we been informed, we would have respectfully declined from the outset and advised the client to contact a specialist service.
We take pride in our reputation for being reliable, compassionate, and professional. We go above and beyond for our clients wherever possible, but we must also operate within legal and ethical boundaries.
