It is Saharan sand that has landed as part of this recent heat wave and is very abrasive and will scratch the life out of your paintwork
Thoroughly rinse your vehicle down with a jetwash and do not make contact with the surfaces until all of the dust had been washed off.

This Audi S5 required paintwork correction due to a few issues....
