Today we celebrate 16 years of the Oven Valet, as we enter our 17th pre & post Christmas season we would like to thank our customers for their continued support many of them having been with us since the very beginning.

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Lead Chef / Cook to join our team at Morgan McVeighs, our independent restaurant, boutique, and food hall on the A96 at Colpy.

If you love fresh, home-style cooking, enjoy daytime hours, and want to lead a small friendly kitchen team, we’d love to hear from you!

🍽️ A bit about the role:
You’ll lead our kitchen team, cooking hearty breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches, toasties, and delicious home baking. You’ll help plan menus, keep the kitchen running smoothly, and make sure everything’s done to a high standard.

💬 About you:
We’re looking for someone who:
✔ Has kitchen experience (chef or cook)
✔ Loves working with fresh ingredients
✔ Can stay calm and positive in a busy environment
✔ Takes pride in great food and good teamwork
✔️need to have own transport

📅 Hours: Daytime only, with weekend working on a fortnightly rotation.
💷 Pay: Dependent on experience.

15 years ago, 16th November 2009, the Oven Valet had it's first customer, 9000+ ovens later we continue to keep the ovens of Banchory, Deeside, the City & Shire sparkling. Thank you to our loyal customers, who keep our diary busy throughout the year, all your support is really appreciated. We look forward to seeing you all on our future visits.
